The WEC offers a number of programs that have become annual signature events. These include the Love your Body week, the Vagina Monologues performance, Women's History Month events, and programs to raise awareness about relationship violence and sexual assault. Signature Events & Programs
International Women's Lunch
The Women's Educational Center will be hosting a lunch to welcome international women, and especially new international students. The lunch will be on October 8 from 11:30 - 1:00 pm in the WEC, 213 University Center.
Relationships can be thrilling, intimidating, and confusing - all at once! In this program you will be equipped with important tools to build healthy, satisfying relationships in college and beyond. Laci will cover relationship styles, communication, healthy/unhealthy relationships, and dating violence. Check out Laci Green at youtube.com/lacigreen.

Women's History Month
During the month of March, the Women’s Educational Center sponsors programs in celebration of Women’s History Month. Programs range from films to panel presentations and an art gallery exhibit.
Love Your Body
The WEC plans activities that focus on body image, gender stereotypes, and eating disorders. The Love Your Body campaign was created by the National Organization for Women (NOW) to bring awareness to the connection between harmful images that we are exposed to by the media and pop culture and women’s self-esteem.
